Adoption Information
Once you find your purrfect kitty or kitties, we have an application to be completed & approved
and a contract to be signed. You must bring a valid driver's license and a current utility bill.
In most circumstances an application is approved immediately & you would be able to take the kitty home the same day, so we suggest bringing a carrier or we can provide a carrier for a small fee.
Some applications can take 24-48hrs. to process.
Remember, we have a "2 for 1" special... there is only one adoption donation required to adopt two kitties.
You must be at least 23 yrs. old to adopt. We kindly ask that anyone visiting our facility
be accompanied by someone at least 23 yrs. or older. The person adopting must be present at the time of the adoption process and when taking the kitty home. We do not permit 3rd Party adoptions or 3rd Party pick-ups.
Adoption Donation
We wish we could adopt out our kitties at no cost to you, but our non-profit facility
wouldn't be able to survive without donations. Here are the adoption donation amounts:
Cats under 6 yrs. > $90 Cats 6 yrs. and older> $75 Cats over 10 yrs. > no donation required
Cat Placement Instructions
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Are you looking to place an adult cat at our facility?
Please E-MAIL us all the details about the kitty & the situation and INCLUDE A PHOTO.
We must have the feline's accurate age, gender, size/weight, medical history (altered? tested? vaccinated?),
personality/temperament & reason for placement. Once you've provided ALL this information,
we will contact you with instructions
when we have an opening.
It's important to respond immediately
because we may have an opening now! If we don't have an opening now, we will add you to our waiting list, so please DO NOT CALL the shelter.
All felines that enter our facility MUST be pre-approved and pre-arranged
with an appointment. We do not accept unexpected kitties. Abandoned kitties will
NEVER
enter our facility. We cannot give any referrals because most facilities are full. You can try Pets911 to search for other Shelters. Please do not leave a message on our voicemail about placing a kitty. The first stages
of the placement process are done by e-mail ONLY. It's best to copy & paste this section into your e-mail to be certain that you have included ALL the required information (and photo). Due to the volume of e-mails we receive, we can only save e-mails that supply ALL the necessary information & photo required.
E-MAILS THAT DO NOT SUPPLY ALL THE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE DELETED... AND VOICEMAILS WILL BE DELETED... sorry.
Note: If you are unsure of the size/weight of your kitty, please weigh yourself on a scale, then weigh yourself and the kitty together by holding the kitty
and then subtract your weight to get the weight of the kitty. We must know the size/weight of your kitty to be able to determine if we can help you because we
have two different size playpens in our facility.

IMPORTANT INFO:
Our facility accepts CATS only (ages 10-months to 10-years). Sorry, we are not accepting KITTENS and we no longer have the necessities to house them.

Do you feed the strays outside your home?
If you are putting food outside for stray cats, you must take responsiblity for these animals by TRAPPING and SPAY/NEUTERING these cats so
they do not reproduce. If you need help with trapping, please contact a TNR Group (Trap, Neuter, Release) for assistance. Feeding stray cats
is not properly helping these animals. There will soon be litters of kittens born and many more strays added to the overwhelming cat population.
PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE AND SPAY/NEUTER!
